X3 Seat Pressure Sensor
Hey everyone,
I have a 2005 X3 and I recently discovered that I have an airbag light on due to the passenger seat mat pressure sensor malfunction. I know they had an extended recall (10 years) but I missed it literally by 2 months... bummer. Does anyone know of a way to take the seat a part and "fool" the computer without buying a new part? Is it possible to splice the wires together completing the circuit so it "thinks" there's someone always in the seat thereby turning off the airbag light? Has anyone attempted anything like this? Thank you for your thoughts and time! Mike |
