Can you turn the security system off temporarily?
For all those pet owners out there. We noticed the other day that we can't leave our dog inside the truck without the alarm going off.
Is there a way to temporarily disable the alarm while still locking the vehicile?

If you press the lock button on the remote a second time after locking your car, the internal sensor is disabled. You will get a few seconds confirmation from the red light on the mirror. |

Yes that definitely works - although with the alarm going off, it looks like the X3 is as excited to see you as the dogs inside are The dogs love going for rides in the X3

Thanks this is useful although I guess we have been lucky as our dog has never set off the alarm. He does just lie still and mostly sleep in the car.
