1 Year ownership gift from BMW
We received a nice little gift from BMW for 1 year of ownership (even though we've had the X3 for 18 months now).
It's a nice rendering of the F25 concept printed on very heavy, quality, stock and framed in a nice little frame/folder with an embossed BMW logo on the front. Will look really nice on display on a wall or shelf. Thought this was pretty cool. It's simple yet effective. We've owned countless new cars over the years and really this is the first little piece of recognition we've seen from any manufacture (outside of a coupon book for free tire rotations or something silly like that). BMW definitely has us drinking their magic cool-aid. Won't be too hard to talk ourselves into getting a second BMW to share garage space with the X3. |

I got mine a few weeks ago. Just another way BMW says Thank You as the X3 sells like mad.

Seriously, everyone? Come the fuck on...I got this and tossed it immediately.
I felt personally insulted that BMW could assume I'd appreciate this. |

I had received a gift after few months of buying my X3. It was a 2GB drive in a heavy FOB shape and in a beautiful expensive packing. It was waste of money, I never used it, must be sitting somewhere in the junk yard. There is no value for 2GB drives these days. Had that been a 64 GB, I would have used it.
You may have different opinion about it. And now I notice another move to waste money. |

When I bought my Ford Explorer back in 2000, they sent me two folding chairs and a matching soft side cooler. I still use them and pack them in my X3!

Yeah profiles can definitely be saved in 2GB but it will not be enough for music backups. Secondly I am not comfortable to use heavy flash drive in glove box as I'm not sure of the car vibration effect.

Mercedes provided a free professional studio photo session that included a complimentary 8 X 10. I'm sure not everyone used the voucher and had concerns the studio was attempting an upsell, but free is still free.
I appreciate the gift or thought regardless of the item.

Gee that was thoughtful of Ford. You could use them to sit on the side of the road waiting for the assist vehicle to arrive after it broke down.

Love my X3, but there's nothing wrong with previous generation Ford Explorer.
Before my X3, I drove Explorers for 13 years. They were great cars and wonderful in snow, and we get plenty of it where I live. By the way, I junked the free chairs. They were very uncomfortable.
