squirrel storage

I replace the spark plugs last weekend , when I was blowing compress air to clean the area, something jump from the valve covert. see attached photos. Appears that a squirrel was storing dog food there.

ha, I've had that happen before. as long as they don't chew up wiring (mice etc) I just think its funny. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often where I live currently but the bmws stay in the garage and they generally leave my cobalt alone lol

I had this happen with a Lexus, they chewed the hell out of the wiring harness as well I ended up getting one of those electronic repellant things, can't say for sure it works or not but they didn't come back after installing it.

it's crazy to me that they just left those injector cavities in the head open so that dirt, water, dog food, etc can get down in there. How much more expensive would it have been to install a rubber cover or plug
