Thank you mate. I just had a quote for repairing my Volvo wheels which had Diamond cut at £140/corner with a 7 Day turnaround.. Kind of happy to have less posh wheels now!

I'm just going to enlarge the image from the brochure, print and cut them out, and stick them over the top of my current alloys - never know the difference

Photoshopped wheels is the way forward - cheap to fix as well.

Sure it's parked? I thought it must have been moving very slowly with that distance.

After all the posts about 607s v 605s - which I can understand as, if you've ordered one thing it's a bit off to deliver it with a substitution - I think that, on the road, the 605s suit the car better than the 607s, a bit more purposeful and less namby-pamby

Yes very happy thanks. I think the wheels were always a first world problem and more to do with promise and delivery..

And thanks for the comments on my parking, after "wheel gate" do you think I am going to park that near on first ever trip!

EDIT .. Just realised what you did there! Nice photoshopping - tsk shows how minor a difference it is !

you can certainly spot the I don't want to kerb my new alloys on the kerb driver.

Did you have to get a taxi to the edge of the road - Only kidding - Looks goodcan't wait for mine to arrive.

More pics please

...and you're in the wrong place... you shouldn't be posting on a forum, you should be out getting to know your new toy

...and you might want to update your profile, according to the sidebar you're still driving a Volvo....

Put a photo of mine on my desk at work for the first couple of weeks to see me through those agonising hours of not being together.

Lol you had it bad!

Couple of things I noticed on my quick drive..
  • idrive will take some getting used to.
  • No power socket in rear for passengers
  • I thought if you hold lock button down the mirrors folded in but they didn't
  • button to left of volume knob - not sure what it does?
  • Love sync'd heating controls
  • nice to have DAB
  • seat not as comfortable as Volvo and I am surprised how close Volvo is to BMW in a lot of aspects..
  • Wheels look much nicer in flesh and might prefer them..
