New subwoofer / some battery questions

I'm trying to add a yet-to-be determined subwoofer and amp in the trunk of my 2013 X3 (F25). I have the upgraded premium audio package on the SUV and I think it lacks bass.

1) Does anybody have a wire guide / diagram for the premium audio package? I'm most likely going to do speaker level inputs and want to get the right wires.

2) For a clean install, does anybody know what the part number is for the clip to go into this giant block on top of the battery (see attached)?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I ran my power wire to the + terminal and I used the subwoofer speaker wires coming into the amp as my sources.

Sorry, can't be of help here. I think "BoogysBMW" got the experience on this one. My only comment would be that my past experiences with other BMWs, was that a reset was required after the battery is disconnected. So if it was me doing it, I would leave the battery connected. If you could get the connector you point out in the photo that would really be a nice clean install.

Cable Power to Battery:
Housing:
- Single: 61136925176
- Double: 61136925166
Connector: 61136920094

can try: http://www.ecstuning.com/ or http://www.bmwpartsupply.com/

better check whether there is indeed a connector inside the empty slot(s)

If anybody is doing this, here's some helpful information summarized:

If you're looking at installing a sub on an X3, it's a good idea to pick an amp that can handle speaker level inputs. The battery is located in the trunk and there is a lot of free space in the left and right rear panels where the other amps from the premium audio package are. The only caveat is that the Harmon Kardon amps do not provide enough voltage to trigger the amp, so you will need to also use a wire connected to the remote power terminal to turn the amp on and off when the vehicle starts.

Speaker inputs - under seat woofers
Blue with red stripe (LEFT +)
Blue with brown stripe (LEFT -)
Black with red stripe (RIGHT +)
Black with brown stripe (RIGHT -)

Remote power on
Use the thin black antenna wire located behind the right rear panel in the trunk, in a bundle with a black thick cable.

I picked an Alpine MRV-M500 Mono subwoofer amplifier, Alpine Type-R SBR-S83V - 8" with single ported enclosure, KnuKonceptz KCA Complete 4 Gauge Amp Installation Kit, and just because I'm picky, I also got the Alpine RUX-KNOB for remote bass level control. I put the remote gain knob in the small compartment left of the steering wheel where I also keep my sunglasses.

Thanks man! I don't think Alpine makes that in a 12" but Pioneer has a nice 12" enclosure I was looking at:

I am considering dumping my "12 sub because its starting to become intrusive in the trunk. I just don't want to lose to much of my bass. How does the SBR-S8-4 sound with your setup? How hard does it hit

I am trying to find this black wire on my 2016 x3 top hifi system with no luck. Any info on where exactly to find this wire?
