Phoenix Intercooler
Has someone installed the Phoenix intercooler ?
Is this a frount mount setup and do we need to change the pipe or it's pretty bolt-on ? Also, any difference in terms of HP gains Thanks https://www.ecstuning.com/b-burger-m...-f-n55n20intc/ |

I can't imagine this is a good intercooler considering all other N55 intercoolers are going for upwards of $500 this one is likely trash. It might be a good one but someone has to be the test dummy and buy one and see if it fits and actually lowers temps.
Rumor has it that VRSF will soon have a race intercooler or sell the necessary bracketry to get the current N55 intercoolers to fit our F25s. Id wait the few more weeks for one of those. Quote:

I ran the Phoenix before dumping it for the VRSF Race. The Phoenix is a looker, but not a performer. It's better than stock, but not by all that much.

I fabbed some brackets out of some square tubing. There's a thread or two in here about it somewhere.A few others have done it now, too.
