South Carolina Pick ups?

Has anyone done a South Carolina pick up for their new X3? Was it a good experience? Pros / cons?

From everything I've ever read from those who did Performance Center Delivery, it was ALL postitive. The only con might be coordinating transportation and time off of work on short notice.

There are a few threads with great commentary about folks' performance center delivery in South Carolina. Here are a few to check out

I did the PCD on my X3 and highly recommend it. At the time, there were not enough X3's available, so I used a X5. Should be even better now since they have enough X3's available.

Do you save on MSRP by doing the PCD?

Is this available to Canadians too? Is there an additional cost?

There is a whole forum on Bimmerfest about PCD delivery:

I did one for my X3 and it was great, an absolute should do if you have the time.

Do you still have to purchase through a dealer? And is it like Euro delivery where you actually save on MSRP?
