Center console trim removal

Does anyone know the steps involved in removing the lower center console trim around the gear shifter and Idrive to have it wrapped in carbon fiber?

And you'd still need to remove the existing trim to install the M Performance trim...

You can't order the M Performance trim from the factory. It may be a port installed option at this point but I haven't checked, it still doesn't help the OP if it is though.
