Are European Headlights Glass?

(Previously posted in the wrong category. I tried to delete it.)
My headlights are getting "fogged over" on the inside. Someone told me that the European headlights are glass and not plastic. Does anyone know if this is true? If so how would I go about getting a set? I know it would be expensive.

I doubt it. Plastic fogs as well.. you have moisture getting into your headlight and that's why it's fogging.

All are plastic, someone didn't know what they were talking about.
Bulb access cover or computer module seal is probably leaking.
I've never seen fog on the inside of mine.

There was a time where that was true. I don't believe it still is. The lenses are made from a polycarbonate plastic. They do tend to get hazy on the outside over time. Cleaner/polishers like Meguiar's Plastix help by filling in the microscopic pores and maintaining optical clarity. Eventually though, they will all have to be reconditioned. Hazing on the inside is a sign that the fixture isn't sealed properly.

You need to make sure where your "fogging" is. You can have fogging inside from moisture if it is not sealed correctly. It will be obvious because it will look like moisture close up. Much more common is where UV sunlight breaks down the top coating on the lights and starts to make it opaque. That will be on the outside. If your car is garaged, that should not happen for quite a few years. The only true fix for that is to wet sand down the lenses and polish them and put on a protective coating. I've done it on several cars. Done correctly, they will look brand new.

I'm pretty sure the "fogging" is on the inside. There is no sign of moisture on the inside. I'll have to look at them closer.
