Do you switch Traction Control on in the Snow?
Just wondering do you switch traction control on in the snow or ice straight away (I appreciate it switches off some of the stability controls)?
Or do you normally only switch it on if you are struggling to move off? Generally when are you using it and have you noticed any issues with reduced stability when you are using it? |

I only switch it if it's particularly slick and I'm not able to start out well. In those situations I've switched back quickly, so don't know that I can comment on performance beyond the start.

I've never had to. I haven't had DSC come on in snow for more than a brief second.
And to clarify, you would only want to switch from DSC to DTC on loose terrain like deep snow where some wheelspin is productive, not on ice or hard packed snow. |
