Hello,

I just ordered my 2021 M40i and I can't find answers.

What scheduled maintenance is required, not recommended but REQUIRED to keep the BMW 4 years/50,000 miles valid? I want to perform just the maintenance items REQUIRED per BMW to keep the warranty intact and valid.
I prefer to pick and choose the BMW recommended maintenance items.
Where in writing might I find this information? Thanks much.

For many years BMW has employed 'Conditioned Based Service'....things such as oil change interval, brake service, etc. are monitored by the car's computer and the user is alerted to the need for 'service' by the iDrive system. As best I know BMW no longer publishes a document with service (mileage / time) intervals for each model.

You might consult the owners manual and/or contact your BMW Dealer for details.
