Both Honda CRV ! ! (she is driving #3 now, no didn't bother this time)

The 2017 X3 is still covered but i'm talking to places now to extend.
(fac warr has already replaced circuit boards, infotainment display head,
and suspension parts) And it only has 18K on it. I won't go past factory
warranty without an extended on this one)

How many years / miles are you going to keep it if covered ?
its not that much. at least cover the major items !
3 so far... one paid 4K lost about 2K.

2 year CPO extended warranty just ran out (Only managed to get a sway bar link... no other claims made, if I recall correctly).

2 year CPO extension just kicked in on another... No claims yet...

Looking at your issues, Hell I might extend the CPO on the X3

x3 2017

Curious too. I have a 2017 x3 28i with 20,000mi. Buying off lease. Is the warranty worth it given the low mileage?

You still have a decent amount of factory warranty coverage at that age/mileage.

I would take a gamble and go without.

That is what I decided when I was nearing the end of my factory warranty, and the local dealership gave me an astronomical quote to take me to 7 years/100k miles. So far, the only thing it would have helped with was my instrument cluster replacement, but I'm still over $4000 ahead of the game, with 14,000 miles to go to 100K miles.

On the flip side, I also have a "next car" fund that I can dip into. Bad case, large downpayment on a new car

Easily have had over $6K of repairs covered by Fidelity for an ac compressor replacement, AC leak repair, main engine seal, radiator, oil pan gasket replacements, software reloads, etc.

When I purchased it, the Fidelity Platinum EW was almost too good to be true...~$2800 for extending an additional 6 years/ 72K miles with $100 deductible.

Be sure to shop around. Fidelity prices can vary significantly by individual reseller (feel free to PM me if you want to contact the dealer that I found. He came highly recommended by several other members on this and other forums).

Hi Greg, can you PM me your contact at Fidelity? Also, how has your experience been so far?
