USB port &*iPhone 5S

Hi folks,
I got a weird issue. Let's say in 3 from 10 attempts when I connect my iPhone 5s to the usb port using Lighting cable phone starts to periodically connect and disconnect. It vibrates too.
Usually cable disconnection on the phone side doesn't work, disconnecting USB connector from the port seems to help but not always. I need to completely turn off motor to restart BMW system. I'm sure it's not cable nor iPhone itself because it works correctly when powered from car cigarette lighter adapter.
Did anyone face the same issue?

It's definitely your cable.
I've had the same problem with all my aftermarket cables. The only times I didn't have it was with either Apple cables or MFI certified (licensed) cables. Even those can fail over time.

just unplug cable from usb port and plug it back in, it happens in my f30 with an apple cable
