How to enable adaptive headlight by default?

I have a UK car, which I permanently drive in mainland Europe. This requires me to enable Adaptive Headlights feature. But every time something causes reset of settings it goes back to being disabled and I may not immediately notice that I am blinding oncoming traffic. Is it possible to code it so that it always enabled by default so a reset wouldn't disable it next time? Would really appreciate any hints on this. Thank you.

You must have the appropriate hardware for this to work correctly. I believe there is a sensor in the rear view mirror that looks out the windscreen.

Sorry, I may have been unclear. I do have the hardware and its working well. I am not asking how to enable this feature. It is already available in my cars settings and I can manually enable it. But this setting is off by default. So if anything resets settings in my car (e.g. each time code ECUs) it goes unnoticed by me until I remember to go into settings and enable it again. Can it be coded so that this setting is on by default and I don't have to remember to set it on each time my settings get reset?
