Brake squeal
My 2007 X3 (diesel, manual) occasionally squeals, quite loudly, from the back brakes when pulling away whenever the car is facing downhill, doesn't do it on level ground. I thought it may be the handbrake as it was adjusted recently at the dealers and I think it may be overtightned. After reading some posts about it I'm thinking the hill start assist might have something to do with it also. Any thoughts?
