2015 X3 prices paid and buying/negotiating experience

Hi guys,

I am going to be looking to buy a new X3 Xdrive28d or Xdrive28i by end of this month and wanted to get a feel for what community members have paid for theirs and what kind of discount you were able to get on your X3.

These are the options I am looking to add:
Premium package
Cold Weather package
Drivers assistance package
Navigation system

I am looking to buy an instock vehicle so there is more room for negotiation. Can you please help me out so I know how much room there is for negotiation?

My wife drives a Q5 and my dealer can give me the same deal on another Q5 (12% off MSRP) with same features as I want on X3 (pano roof, leather, keyless, nav, back up cam, heated seats etc.)

If this has been talked about elsewhere please point me to that link.

Thanks for reading and wish me luck.

T

I'm in the middle of negotiating now and I would like to know if this is a good price:

X28
Xline
Cold weather
Premium
Tech
Driver assist
Driver assist plus
Lighting
Rear window shades

Msrp=$54,800
Offered price = $52,000
MF= .0013
$0 down
Monthly including tax=$810

Good deal?

I'm in Canada..

In January, I custom ordered an X3 28i. My friend had managed to get 5.8% off MSRP.

I used my friends' bill of sale to negotiate 6% off MSRP, or 2% over invoice. As far as I know, in Toronto, that's a really good deal.

Legaleye3000: That's a bit more than 5% off MSRP. Depending on demand in your area, that's probably a fairly good deal. On the other hand, people in some areas say they pay invoice which is 8% off. You can get a good feel for your local market if you live in (especially if you live in a big city) and there are community forums like RedFlagDeals where people like to go to discuss what they paid for things.

I got 12,5 % off the listingprice. This included a special BMW offer for cash buyers only.

Listingprice 45.990 euro. My price 40.150 euro. Not bad, I'd say

Jordster what dealer did you buy that through if you don't mind sharing?

BMW Autohaus in Thornhill (just North of Toronto, one of the largest GTA dealers). Sales guy was Alex A. Highly recommend him. If you go see him tell him Jordan sent you. I bet he'll make you the same deal if you use my deal as a bargaining chip. He also arranged a great trade for my old car (I had shopped around, and got 3 quotes from 5.5k-7.5k and he got me 8k).

I should mention I was a cash buyer, in case that makes a difference.

Yes Andy, I ordered a 2.0i with 184 hp. I had preferred the 3.5i of course, but my wallet had a different opinion

I won't be driving so much anymore, that's why a petrol will do (also tax reasons).

And we decided to keep our Renault Koleos which has a 175 hp Diesel engine. He will stay our loyal companion on our holidays with our caravan. My wife doesn't want to sell the Renault, because it had never let us down, and she felt sorry for it ... haha.
