Shift paddles

I haven't seen the shift paddles in person, and I'm curious: are they -/+ paddles like in the M cars, or the "old style", redundant push/pull paddles?

To be clearer: do you downshift with the left paddle and upshift with the right paddle, or can you use either paddle for both downshifts and upshifts?

Thanks!

Ah, never mind, I just found a picture that clearly shows a + on the right paddle. That answers my question

As you surmised: Right to upshift and left to downshift. What is not apparent in the photos is that the paddles are actually fairly large and sweep down completely behind the left and right wheel spokes. They also have a raised edge on the section behind the spokes which really helps to keep your fingers from slipping off if you're moving the steering wheel quickly. The part you see peeking above the spokes is not the part you rest your fingers on.

Love em! They're so, so much better than having to move your hand to the shift lever to change gears.
