Amber Rear Signals US

Anyone able to get the amber bulbs from BMW service in the US for rear turn signals? Advice please . . .

I got mine... just ask your dealer to order those instead prior to production date...

you're right, but when I got it for the NA market, then it is definitely possible...

Sorry, wasn't clear. Anyone been able to order amber replacement bulbs through their service center? If so, this confirms it's just the bulb, yes? Any tricks to getting them to order the right thing?

I don't think its just the bulbs that are amber colour... I am not sure though... because on Euro spec cars, I can see that the lens is not red, but is sorta in a very dark amber colour...

I've go them and I think it is a bit different... because when the flash is off, you can still see the amber color (although not very strong)

This is the link to the retro-fit parts. I called my CA about this. He and his manager both said it is not possible to order it.

will changing an amber light bulb inside gives off a amber turn signal. my car is already on production and my CA told me that it is not possible to change the tail light before the production begin.

You will have to get them imported or get from some guy overpricing things at eBay as the dealers cannot order them... those tails are not approved by the DOT. So basically, the DOT isn't getting paid enough money so NO AMBER 4 U
