BMW X3, how long to cut off power to all cigar lighter outlets?

Anyone here knows that, when the BMW X3 engine is shut OFF and car is parked, how long will it take to cut off the power supply to all the parts, especially the cigar lighter outlet ? some people said a few minutes, some said 20-30 minutes. Hard to find the official data. mine is 2016 X3 model. thanks

Around 20 minutes. I did not use a stop watch, but checked it last year when transferring my dash camera from my F31 320d Sport to the current F25 X3 xDrive30d M Sport.

It appears that all recent BMW cars take approximately the same time to shut down all the services and go into some kind of hibernation mode.

You are correct. I stand corrected. As soon as you posted, I went out and checked mine and it was definitely off within 3 minutes.

On my F31 UK 2012 320d Sport was approximately 20 minutes.

There is one explanation! I had a complete software update recently by the dealer and this could be one of the parameters changed because it WAS 20 minutes when I transferred the dashcam across from the F31 320d Sport. I am sure of this because for the very same reason as the poster, I wanted the dashcam to run for a while after locking the car.
