Input on 2016 X3 35i
The family is looking to add an X3 to the stable. We love our 335i but need a 4 wheel drive for when we actually get snow in Colorado...
I'm looking for some help on what to watch out for with the X3 35i. This will be a long distance purchase from a dealer. My wife will test drive while on a business trip next week. With only 15K miles we are feeling good about the year/miles/price point. But are there some things we need to look into before we get too far down this path. Much appreciated for any help you can provide. Regards - Richard |

Some usual points.
1. Make sure its a clean title 2. Lots of them will have scratches on the centre console and the screen (i think every x3 i saw had these... but just so you are aware) 3. If she is on a business trip there really isn't much else to know unless she takes it to a mechanic? |

An extended warranty on a used vehicle is a good consideration, and this is still
within the window of opportunity. Plans on keeping it long?

Our plan is to keep it for about 10 years... so yes. Looking at the extended warranties.
It obviously still has the factory warranty intact, so we have that for a few more years. Not sure about a maintenance plan. My 335i had almost 2 years of that plan left, which was great. Thanks for the note about scratches on the screen. We'll take a look. |
