Interior Scent

Dealer did a full detail of the car for me and I received the car with the new bmw scent.

1. Is there an air freshener pod inside the car somewhere that was replaced? I can see little scent pods for sale by BMW.

2. alternative scents that have interested others

I have found, and tested many times after a couple detail shops informed me.
"vanilla" scent (any auto part stores, paper trees in cellophane) is used to mask,
and eventually replace some of the auto industries experiments.

Usually takes a month for change over.

I enjoy the black ice one (the tree) smells great...
