BMW Warranty question
I was wondering if the BMW warranty was transferable from one country to another or if you export out of country of purchase, you loose your warranty.

Of course you have warranty...
...around the world. The warranty aplies not only in the country you have bought the "beauty" but also, within the warranty period, wherever you are driving it.
Enjoy it because I'm still waiting. |

However
The warentee reverts to the coverage of the country where the vehicle is located when a claim is processed, for example a US purchased vehicle with a 50K warentee will only be 24K in Germany (their standard BMW warentee).

For example, in Norway one have 5 years warranty, don't think this is transferable..
On the other hand an x3 3.5i cost 170 000$ here... Last edited by X3andZ4owner; 07-17-2011 at 03:45 PM.. |
