About to pull the trigger

Getting quoted car invoice + 895 destination + 180 training + 430 MACO + 250 doc fee + 400 dealer profit. MACO seems high to me for southern NJ dealer but he's insisting that it's not marked up. Doc fee is high, but 400 over invoice seems reasonable in tandem with the doc fee I guess. I could probably try to haggle an additional 100 if I wanted. I'm going to lease plus I'll get to use the USAA discount. All the lease terms are best available (current base money factor plus deductions for MSDs).

This is for a fairly loaded 3.5M sport. Any reason not to take this deal?

Thanks all! Couldn't have come this far without you.

Doc fee for me was $350 I think, which is about standard in Massachusetts. I got mine for about 1k over invoice

When you say invoice, does that include destination, training, and MACO?

We don't have MACO and Training fees in MA. We do have Destination, which is a standard one-price fee nationwide, and which should be included in Invoice. Doc Fees and Title Fees are not included in Invoice.

Cool. So $260 better than what I've been offered...but if you factor in MACO and training fees (which definitely have to be paid around here), my deal doesn't look so bad.

Maybe I can ask them to throw in a set of floor mats and call it even.

A few hundred dollars isn't worth losing sleep over. If you get the mats, great. If not, declare it a win anyway, and take the deal.
