Both groups include people who can spend a lot of time sitting at a computer looking at forums?

And in the case of the first group you can add ".. when they should be working"

Talking

First time BMW owner. Love the drive. Am 66yo did 34 yrs in law enforcement presently working in health care. Never in IT but love all the gadgets in this vehilcle.

Always wanted a bimmer. Wife has some issues and riding in a SAV is much more comfortable for her than a sedan. Tried out the seating at the Auto Show of the X3 along with others.

It's a great ride!

Come on...

Back in the days I used to have Volvo 760 Turbo which I moded quite a bit. Made my own bleed-valve to turbo, changed camshaft, changed downpipe and exhaust... even tried to change fuel injectors from Supra to Volvo, but they did not work after installing. I was told that they should work and give more fuel (hence I could tune up the boost pressure).

No, I am all settled down now. No mods and I attend "ecorun" competitions, which are sort of rallyes but "who can drive the route with least fuel amount"

Of course there are timelimits to each special stage, so you must drive quite fast in order not to receive penalty points.

I'd hire a truck to tow/carry me between stages at great speed.
Why dont BMW / Porsche / Ferrari make a good truck?
My money is on Porsche doing it first.

Bought X3 28i for my wife. That said, whenever the two of us are out I'm always the one driving and I'm the one driving to big box stores and gardening centers. I'm replacing her MDX which is much larger- which we don't need anymore.

She's an executive for a pharmaceutical and I'm one for a software company. We're both in our late 40's. 2 kids in high school.

I love technology, music and fun to drive rides. She cares about the colors and less about the look. I've always loved driving all my buddy's BMW's. I've always felt that the 3 5 and 7 series and SUVs are the most fun of an vehicle to drive in their respective classes. I've hesitated buying one because of the reliability issues. We've had a few Acuras in a row that have been good rides and have had zero reliability issues. Thought I'd give an X3 a shot- I know we'll love driving it around.
