Soon there will be another X3 on the road in southeast VA! I ordered my X3 328i on 8/4 and found out Wednesday that it is just about to go into production with an estimated completion of 8/14. I couldn't believe the dealer actually had a slot that they were able to modify so close to production. This will be my 3rd BMW, having had a 2005 325i sedan and currently a 2008 328i coupe. With the crappy roads in VA and the desire to have more cargo space (trips to Lowes/Home Depot), I decided it was time to say goodbye to the rough ride and lack of cargo space of the 328i coupe. Here is the configuration of my X3:

I have to agree with what others on here have said about the wait for delivery...it definitely is difficult!
