Just to keep the 4 hours rule from stretching to 18 hours: my F25 is private so I arranged my own insurance. I took the BMW policy as it was the best cover and price I could get just under GBP500. Collection still this Friday, 30 Sep.

+1 for BMW Insurance.

Re. insurance, whether BMW or another company, just make sure your policy pays you the full price you paid new in the event of a write-off or the car being stolen (rather than market value). Most insurance companies have this option for brand new cars

i'm with admiral and they pay out market value. hence the taking out of RTI insurance, 300 quid for 3 yrs which i'm fine with.

was just in at coopers earlier this morning.. nice brand new x3 waiting for its owner with personalized number plate.. looks great... wonder if it's anyone on here.

Definitely not him if it had 309s. I assume it was space grey too though - I haven't actually seen it!

Must be a lurker. Or simply someone who hasn't ever heard of XBimmers and just bought an X3 and waited 8 months without doing any internet research or trying to track it across the ocean.... Crazy!

Nope not mine, was thinking of having a personal plate, but decided against it, thought the car would get enough attention without drawing any extra. Also yes mine does not have 309's.

Question: Going to pickup this Friday 30th in the morning, and have the day off to fully enjoy the experience. After all the checks and hand over complete, whats the first thing I should look at or do to the setup (obviously after spending hours getting the seat position right)?
Is there something I should setup or check above all others, which you guys found out later and wish you had sorted it earlier?
