Placed Order for X4 M40i

I'll get the first allocation for an M40i in Charlotte. It is replacing an X3 35i coming off lease in March.
I don't know a production week yet. I'll update the thread as it progresses.

Mine will be the Long Beach Blue and Ivory/Black/Red pinstripe interior but with wood trim. I'm getting the 20's with PSS tires. I'll probably get a set of 19s with all-season or winters for the rare times I'll need that, like holiday trips to WV.

I've really liked the X3 but am looking forward to the extra sportiness of the X4 M40i.

Great color combo. I'm in the same situation, replacing my wife's X3 2.8. She's been built, waiting for me to do Performance Center delivery 3/11. They're pretty booked up with deliveries and that was the earliest date they could arrange! Works out well, though. I also got the 20" PSS' and hoping with the later date the snow won't affect me driving it back to NY state.

Already bought and mounted snows on 19s. You're suggesting I should ship them down to SC for installation at the center?

This is a good idea if the forecast looks bad a week out from the PCD.
I'm sure they would put them on for you. Put the 20s in the back for the drive home (in bags of course)

Have you seen LBB in person? I did. On an X6m and I have seen very few pix that due it justice. You're going to love this build and that color.

I also ordered LBB but on Mocha (debated on Saddle) with 19s (first 2 weeks) then changed my order to 20s. My order went from week10 to week9 production, now status 112.

Although Summers are crap in winter weather, you can still get by OK. My coworker does on his Summer Rubber on his M4 this whole winter so far. When it snows he stays home, and just this past week where weather was 10-20F he still drove to work. But def best to have peace of mind, get some nice Dilente D8 or Conti DWS06

FYI, my build is Long Beach Blue, Ivory White with Red Pinstripes, Burl Walnut trim, Cold Weather, Tech Pkg, 20s, Rear View & Surround View Cameras, & Smartphone Int. $65,345 sticker.

I would have gotten the Driver Assistance but it can't be ordered with Cold Weather for some reason, so I just got the cameras.

My car is at the dealer. No pics, its a 45 minute drive across town. I might have it tomorrow evening, but being a new model, they have to update their software first to code it. Its a good week for weather so I should be able to do lots of pics by the weekend at the latest.

Wouldn't you know, they are paving the road in front of my neighborhood in stages. I may end up with tar all over the X4M before its in the driveway.
