New 2015 X3!

Just took delivery Thursday. Some photos to share.

Also some new features such as ability to open & close the rear hatch from inside the car (but no close option with the key unfortunately). Also central locking no longer in the center panel, but on each of the front doors.

So far so good. Love the other new features and performance on the 4 cylinder is great. Color is Carbon Black Metallic, but in the sunlight, it's a very dark blue.

That Carbon Black color looking like dark blue in daylight is very interesting... awesome pictures by the way - I got the same Mocha Leather interior!

What options did you get? And, mind if I ask how much discount you got on yours? [PM me if you like]

Fantastic.

Are the chrome cup holders a standard feature of the M Sport?

I take it you have the heads up display?

Is that a compass showing in the binnacle between the speedometer and rev counter?

Congratulations. Front plates are now to the passenger side. Wheels look aggressive, I assume they are summer tires. You must have a big garage.

Hi Intercoms,
I took everything that was available with the exception of Lane Departure.

The "Black/Blue" is definitely interesting. I spent quite a bit of time checking out other models at the dealership with this color before pulling the trigger. I'm quite happy about my choice and a few neighbors have already commented (although, maybe they're just being polite!!)

As for discount, let's say "significantly north of 6%", but likely because I've picked up 5 vehicles from this dealership over the last 6 years. I love dealing with them. Actually the previous dealership owner just sold it to Pfaff Porsche recently.

No. I actually picked those up on Amazon. They're poker chip cup holders (that sit in the holes on a poker table!). Got the idea from someone on the X3 forum about 3 years ago when I had my '11 X3. I think I paid $10 for the pair.

I do have the HUD and yes, that's a compass on the dash console. You can choose to have it there or other items (cycle through via the BC button on the signal stock).

Actually that's my doing. I never allow the dealership to drill into the front bumper. That's a really cool plate holder I picked from us millworks dotcom recently. A bit pricey, but the quality is really very good. AND...it's designed to be "quick release" if you need to go through the car wash or if you're waxing the car etc.

Yes, those are definitely summer tires. I have some Pirelli Winters in the garage. I'll change them over at the end of November.

Around 35, but had a trade-in with my old '11 X3.

They are Pirelli 20" low profiles. Wider track in the rear than front.

For some reason I though the X was a feature of the X-line trim - didn't realise M-sport got it as well..

Pirelli Cinturato P7 All-Season Plus correct?

I want to see how other X3 users rate them in our area especially in Wet condition, i hope they're good in the snow since I'm thinking of selling my goodyear LS-2 & get the pirelli.

That leather option was a choice on the configurator. I believe there were two colors available with the embossed option. If you didn't specifically select it, then it's unlikely you'll be getting it.
