Anyone having problems with a shaky steering wheel?

I had the same problem with my 2012 328...traded it back in after 2 months for a 2013 X3 w/ the n20 and it does the same thing..

about 40-55 mph, the steering wheel vibrates.. anyone else?

I get a very slight vibration but I think my tires need to be balanced.

I'll know for sure when I install my winter tires.

Can you provide details of your car vibration... speed, steering wheel position, etc.

'11 35i - no vibration at any speed. I have my wheels aligned and balanced twice a year (damn CT roads!)

Most likely an issue of need to rebalance the tires (i.e. wheels). "Cupping" seems unlikely with runflat tires? What tires do you have?
