Ultimate Driving Experience
I just received the invitation for the Ultimate Driving Experience at my local dealer. I'm considering an X3 (former '08 X5 user, current '13 335 addict), so was excited to see what "competition" they would pair with the X3. I was hoping to drive a Q5 back-to-back at the Event, but was surprised to read that I would be driving an RX 350 after the X3. Really? The 350 is a great vehicle and all, but It's not even on my radar. How many people really cross-shop the X3 with the 350? Two very different animals. Wish the Macan was more than a series of spy shots....

I would think q5 and glk350 would be the primary competition, rx350 is very different and much cheaper!

the Audi is too close a competition so that's why they're not bringing it into the comparo.
I've been to a driving event before for the F30 and they chose to showcase the 328's competitors C300 and A4 on a tight track, and the 328 dominated... But on a larger track they wouldn't put up the 335 against a C350 and S4. |

The drive experience I went to 2+ years ago had all the marques Audi, Volvo, MB, Cadillac, and Lexus. While I did like the looks of the Q5 nothing beat the X3 35i in terms of performance.
