My guess is that the new side mirrors with have the integrated turn signal LED lights.

I though they would go with the lights touching the grills... I'm not sure tbh.

Does anyone else think the pre LCI will be a bit more aggressive looking at the front?

those spy shots definitely show the headlights touching the grill a la 3 series/x5. im hoping for some serious reshaping of the front bumpers but im not getting my hopes up.

this seems to be bmw's forgotten model when it comes to anything exciting design-wise.

These are newer, it looks like the new LCI 2015 X3 will be getting the touch pad:

Those first images although old definitely better show the headlights new shape while connecting them to the grill.

As for the interior, its a little dissapointing that they are not updating them to closer match the interior of the X5 with the floating screen. But if you look at the screen in that third shot it shows a metal frame around the LCD which is not present on the current X3. I wonder if that means they will be doing SOMETHING different shape-wise of the centre console. Other than that nothing looks different from old X3. Makes me wonder why they are covering so much up with cloth.

I think you are the only one who likes that ugly X5 pop up screen that doesn't retract. Personally, I think it looks cheap and resembles a design after thought. As for the chrome trims around the navi screen, they did the same with the 5 series LCI. So far on the LCI, I see a different set of headlights, a flat bottom halo DRL, touch pad, side mirror with signal lights, some chrome strips in the interior and some new rims. My bet is that BMW will add the line options as well, which should drive up the cost quite a bit. Looks like a typical BMW LCI, no major changes.

The mirrors looks a big doh. Thats one thing I really like on the current X3: big mirrors.
