Wipers (Front and Rear) Stopped Working

Started the car on the first day with a little snow and the windshield wipers wouldn't move. I thought they we frozen but they weren't. I checked the fuses and replaced the relay but no luck. Tried disconnecting the battery to see if something needed to reset, but still nothing. I was thinking it was the wiper motor, but since both the front and the rear stopped working - and with no real indication or warning, it seems something else is the culprit.

The switch stalk works fine for the high beams and the turn signals, and the front spray works intermittently, so not entirely certain. Anyone with ideas?

If fuses and relays are fine then I would suspect the stalk.

Can you get a 12v supply to one of the motors just to check they are working?
