Absolutely. And it looks amazing. Esp with the white. Cops don't bother SUVs with darkish 20% tint. Sedans more likely.

But dont you have a technical inspection every year (like here in Europe) ?
I dont think police would mind here either, but when the car is 4 years old it has to get a yearly inspection, and than the folia would have to be removed on the front windows for sure

Nope, no technical inspection. Just an emissions inspection once a year.

Perhaps that may be the case on mainland Europe, but not so here in the UK.

The police or the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) vehicle examiners use light measuring equipment to measure window tint.

The X3 has 20% all around tint, FormulaOne|LLumar = High Performance

So although looks dark from the outside, it doesn't get in the way of visibility in the inside this is why its critical to get the best tint film. Also, the rear passenger looks darker because of the sunshades =D

In New Jersey we don't have yearly inspection like New York City does.
