2006 X3 Seat Heater Install
Has anyone attempted an install of seat heaters on the X3. I purchased a kit from Dorman and was thinking of trying an install this weekend. Has anyone removed the front seats........that could provide any do's and dont's or tips....

Please be aware that you most likely cannot put a heated bottom in the passenger seat due to the airbag sensor in there.
I never did it before, we gave it away to a car hifi shop, but it can be done. Regards, Ray

Why not? My car came from the factory with seat heaters in all 4 seating positions, in the seat bottom and the backrest?
