X3 Discounts

I'm getting a bit fed up with the rather firm ride on my f30 and excessive wind/road noise and was really impressed with the X3 on a recent test drive.

What kind of discounts can I reasonably expect? Coast2Coast seem to knock off about £5500 from list on a 30d X line. Is that as good as I can expect?

Hi RICHARD, I've just gone from F31 Msport 3.0d xdrive to x3.. Only 400 miles in, love it. Just picked up an X3 3.0d Msport pre-registered 16 plate with delivery mileage .. Pro nav, m-sport+ and some other goodies . Starting price was 40K (list price 49k) and I managed some more ... Plus 3K more p-x than Webyanycar.com offered for my f31 a was BMW franchised dealer. My local dealer had a pre-reg and offered only £500 and crap p-x.. ... So you'd need to shop around. Right now is good time for pre - reg - some offer VAT qualifying like mine - that was the trick. Technically I'm second owner, but when you get it with 5 miles on odometer, who cares. You have to take what you get, but most of them will be well specified.

One example shown here. Near identical to mine,

I tried also the online brokers, this was by far the cheapest way to ownership for me, albeit with a little compromise ...

I have just made the same move i.e. from f30 to f25. The 3.0d is exceptional, in my opinion. The Coast2Coast price should be a reasonable benchmark. X3 supply is more limited than 3 series, and so discounts are less. However, this should be good news for the residuals.

Thanks for the advice.

Any idea how long lead times are on factory orders? My local dealer thought it would only be about 3 months but I'm somewhat sceptical!

I ordered mid November and took delivery in the first week of March. Dealer could have got an earlier build week, so 3-4 months seems reasonable.

Same here! Moved from f31 320d Sport to F25 xDrive 30d M Sport in September last year. Never looked back and never regretted the move.
