I'm running 4.1.2 on an SG3 and have been getting texts for awhile now. Still no emails though, which don't bother me much.

Have you tried sending yet? I'm keen to see how that works. I'm not sure how technical you are but a change in 4.4 allows for only one authorized writer (sender), and I wasn't sure of the implications of bluetooth MAP trying to send one. Be interested to hear if it works.

My Galaxy S4 has been working since I got it . It came with 4.2.2, but I have upgraded to 4.3 and both worked just fine.

Nexus 5?
Hi,
I'm thinking of changing my existing iphone 4s to a Nexus 5, but would like to know how well the Nexus 5 works with the X3 in terms of calls etc. I have read some people experiencing a drop in connection with some vehicles. I have read in another thread on here that Kitkat appears to work ok, but if you have any other comments to add, then please feel free to mention them. I have a late 2012 build X3 if that makes any difference. Thanks. |
