Seat Calibration Required

Anyone get this error message when shutting off the engine? Basically states that the system cannot determine where the seats are, and refers you to the owners manual.
Nothing in the owners manual (2011), neither the in-car one nor the paper one.
Service dept. says 2 hours for reprogramming. Scheduled for later this week (hinted that the service car may be a Z4 )

Not a serious issue for me, as the seats go where they're supposed to be, but curious if anyone else has encountered this "feature".

Appt. is for 7:00 AM. All day off. I'm thinkin' more like Sonora Pass or Yosemite (or both ...).

This happened to me today. Solution is to put the car in Accessory mode. Push seat all the way forward, all the way back, then shut off. Error disappeared at the next start.

Yeah, try pokerface method, this usually works on most cars that have a forward/up and rearward/down travel in order to reset them. Power windows and sunroofs are probably the most common but I suspect it may also work on the seats and would certainly do this loooong before taking it to a dealer and paying $150 for something you could have done at your house.
