I am in Switzerland and after reading about members delivery times, I'm wondering why, after ordering my X3 35d M sport on 7 March, I should be given a delivery date of the 2nd week of August

Does that seem normal for European delivery times?

You should actually consider yourself lucky... I ordered mine in mid July 2011 and got it 2 weeks ago...

It is actually good news for future customers that the waiting time has gone down and hopefully will continue to drop.

I orderd my X3 2.0D last week of february and delivery is promised the first week of June in Belgium.

Well hopefully since the U.S. production times are definitely quicker than expected this may translate for you all as well in other countries.

I ordered mine a few weeks ago and it's already in production even though I was told it would be nearly two months for this to happen when I ordered. Chin up I think BMW is ramping up it's production because of the demand. It may arrive sooner than you think.

Well I sure hope so! We called the dealer this afternoon and we are now told it'll be the last week of July... I guess that's some sort of progress

Mine x3-35d: ordered aug. 2011, produced jan. 2012 and delivered in zürich end of feb. 2012.

Have to take into consideration that i first ordered the 30d and changed to 35d early October as soon as it was possible to change to 35d in Switzerland... My x3 35d was the first my dealer delivered to a customer.

Good luck with the waiting. I think it will be there a few weeks earlier as august/juli.

That must have been a hard wait for you! How do you like it? Somehow I think the 35d suits the X3 much better than the 35i.

Ordered ours 2nd March - Due May 9th! - managed to get a sloted order from the dealers stock - so there will still only be one demo X3 in Devon/Cornwall!

You did well! My 35d ordered early March, delivery due 3rd or 4th week of June.

Just for fun i entered my VIN number in the tracking tool and my car is now on board of the vessel Tugela and arrives in Germay on 1/5. One month ahead of schedule
