2012 X3 Rear Inner Tail light issue
My rear inner tail light went out on the right side so i replaced the bulb but it still doesn't work. I'm not sure what the problem is, are there separate fuses for each side of the brake lights? If so, where can i download a fuse diagram?

Post #7: "And here's an oddity. Over the past year, at four different times, all the rear lamps have failed except for the high-center brake lamp on the tailgate. The left outboard, right outboard, left tailgate and right tailgate lamps have failed which required replacement of the entire lamp assembly in each case. All covered under warranty. We have Xenon headlamps which, I understand, gets you an upscale rear lighting package. LED maybe? 2011 X3 35i, bought new, now at 43,000 miles." |

Got Xenons? If so, there's a bulb and LEDs. There is also a small circuit board, which has been known to fail, requiring the replacement of the entire assembly. Mine failed after the warranty had run out due to mileage. As I remember, the replacement assembly was around $280.
