Spotify app. not seen by car

Hi,

I have a nexus 6P which in all other respects seems to work fine with the car. However,I can't get it to see the Spotify app when connecting via USB cable. I have all the required subscriptions.

Any ideas?

Good to know! I've been trying to get Spotify to work with my android for weeks now, and no-go. Now we know that it only works with the 2016 7-Series
