IPhone screen output to BMW Display

Does anyone know if it\'s possible to output the screen from an iPod/iPhone. I.e. I would like to use a navi app on my phone but output the visual to the in-car display. Is it possible? I have no advanced tech/iPhone packages other than standard USB integration. Thank you.

In short: no. You get limited iDrive output such as video streaming with 6NR BMW Apps but no chance of anything like hooking up your nav app I'm afraid

pity... Live footy matches through the sky sports app would look good on the pro screen!

Probably not impossible with interface and hacking..

If you can interface Apple TV with iDrive, then it would be possible
