SPORT drivetrain...?
Have a '13 28i here---US spec, no M sport pkg
I have Eco pro, normal and sport modes. I really like the way the car handles and takes the road in SPORT mode, but always manually shift the car to conserve fuel here. Is there a way to change it so that the SPORT mode setting changes the steering and drivetrain feel, without changing shift points and throttle response? I have esys and have coded my car, but if this is more than just coding (if it can be done) I may just have to keep shifting manually!

Please elaborate. I've played with the idrive quite extensively but haven't stumbled upon how to do this yet. Thanks.

You would need dynamic damper control to do this. On the 28i, it is only available as part of the M Sport package, I believe. I have DHP (which includes damper control) on my 35i, which lets me set the dampers and steering to Sport, but leaves the drivetrain on normal.

i ordered the m sport package on my 28i and came out with sport sup delete =.=.
i was wondering if i still could get the DHP if i complained to BMW NA? Is it a software thingy to make the suspension adjustable? or they would have to install the sport suspension to make it work? |

Nop,
Dynamic damplers are part of a 'package'. Good luck with that any way.

I used to have the 2012 35i barebones and came with normal, sport ( adjustable susp ), sport ++ I kinda never complained about my current 13 having without the sport+, Chicks riding on my car like the smoothness of the car, it felt like riding in a limo lol.
