2011 X3 35i with powertrain failure warning

I'm taking my 2011 X3 35i that I bought in July with 66K on it to the shop tomorrow because I've had some not so thrilling shifts and it gave me a powertrain malfunction code on the display and I could drive it but you could tell it was unhappy. Later on yesterday I drove it with the autostick and it shifted just like it should..

Any input would be great!

Thanks!

Could be a whole bunch of things. Do you have the ability to pull the codes that it threw?

Might be a crack in the charge pipe. Common thing on N20/N26/N55 around that milage.

Run the codes, it will tell you what's wrong.
