OEM tires for M40i?
I have started planning for replacement tires for my 35i.
I have - optional - 20" Pirelli P ZERO RFT:s, which I, after lowering, am happy with performance, but not life nor comfort. My top picks would be: Continental Sport Contact 6 or Michelin Pilot Super Sport - both non-RFT. I can find both in 275/35-20, but not 245/45-20. My best shot is, probably, to buy tires developed for M40i. Normally a manufacturer will approve, at least, two tires for a model. So, my question: what tires have been on your M40i:s? |

elimpfor - thanks! I take it they are RFT:s. It means that shortly Michelin will have also 245/45-20 in Sweden-at least RFT:s.
As mentioned - normally there should be - at least - two approved brands. Any other brand? |

I have made two mistakes:
-my front tires are 245/40-20 NOT 245/45-20 -M40i has 19" tires as STD - NOT 20". Only owner who has announced that he has opted for M310:s with 20" is SANK, who kept his from previous car. Michelin Pilot Super Sport non-RFT is available in 275/35-20 and 245/40-20 Continental Sport Contact 6 is not - yet - available in 245/40-20 The remaining question - out of curiosity: has M40i non_RFT:s and sealent/slime/gunk and 12V compressor? |

In Canada we get the 20" PSS standard and they are non-RFT, as I had previously mentioned. I do have the tire fix baggy which has the sealant and I assume the compressor (didn't open it, don't care, if I have a flat I will use the road assistance).
