What would you all do? CA messed up my car order

The exact thing happened to me in December. CA ordered X3 with silver and I wanted black roof rails. The dealer ordered me a new X3 and put the wrong one on their lot. Wasn't the CA or my fault. We never discussed it. I always saw black roof rails in the pics and didn't know there was an option for silver. Gave the CA a big tip because I felt it was the right thing to do.

I'm kind of confused, because the order guide for 2013 X3 (starting in Jan 2013) says 3AT (roof rail in aluminum satin) cannot be ordered with ZMP (M Sport package). The 2014 X3, however, can be ordered with 3AT. I wonder if your dealer got caught by an unexpected option change.

If its on the printed and signed order that you wanted the black, then its down to the dealer to sort it out, however they decide to. I'm sure if it does come wrong they are able to get them changed out, or as others have said take a discount and then get them yourself.

They can't really refuse to do anything if you have a signed order that does not match what you get.
