So first rain since I got the car and the wipers don't seem right, on the first sweep there's a clack kinda sound which sounds like something hitting the screen. Then on the sweep back they judder and leave steaks everywhere.

On closer inspection it appears to be the drivers side and when I look at the wipers in the rest position the black plastic block where the place attaches sits just 1mm off the screen, so it looks like as soon as the move that is hitting the screen, weirdly the arm seems to be twisted which could be causing this.

Can anyone confirm if their drivers side wiper sits like this on the screen at rest?





Going to call bmw assist on the advice of the dealer as spoke to them earlier.

Temporarily sorted by bmw mobile assist, arm is mis shaped so has been adjusted. Will need replacing now though as there's paint missing from it.

Check your screen carefully in good light to make sure there are no scratches as they will have to replace that too if there are! Hope you get it sorted soon!

Picked mine up yesterday and it started raining
