Roof runners?

So this is going to be a stupid question but what exactly are the silver strips that run along the roof? And can you add them to a stock f25? Thanks in advance.

those are the roof rails. they are about $150 from the factory .. but installing them as an accessory is much more costly (have to go through the headliner)

You are somewhat correct. The plain, black. matte ones are just slightly over 200 USD (a piece). The satin silver and the high gloss black (SW-HGL) are just under 300 USD (a piece). And yes, there is a bit of labor involved.

Ps. If anybody wants, I will be swapping mine for the high gloss blacks (currently backordered) as soon as they are available and will have a pair of satin silver (aluminum) ones for sale. PM me if interested.

Interesting. Canadian pricing is CAD150 for the silver rails. No option for black rails (unless M Sport which is black standard). Don't sweat it too much though, we still pay 20% more for the vehicle to begin with.
