UK tyre insurance

Had our X3 3 years and looked at renewing the tyre insurance.

We were on the old new for old deal... which is now wear dependent. So only getting 50% off if tyre is less than 6mm is a not such a good deal.

With RFTs its now £450 for 3 years too - so not really worth it as it only covers 5 claims max.

I opted same 3 1/2 yrs ago and like you, decided against renewing... had quite a punctures on the 5 series prior to getting the x3 but since then, zero!
