hitch or play in steering at low speed

Does anyone ever notice when parking their X3 a slight hitch or feeling of play in the steering when changing steering direction? I have noticed this and wonder if its just normal or if I should be asking for a new steering rack.

You should ask your dealer to fix the problem. It is up to him to do what is necessary.
